The goal of this exercise was to explore the manipulation of material, form, and space. Using linden wood as the material, I applied aggregation techniques to create a concept that explores the relationship between the whole and its individual parts.
I created an assembly through stacking and repetition, first by joining two pieces to form a pointed shape. Then I designed two different arrangements by alternating the direction of the points, one facing inward and the other outward, which I stacked alternately to build the final structure.
This aggregation creates a sense of solidity due to the density of the contours, despite the hollow space at the center, the irregular angles introduce an unpredictable play of light, adding dynamic depth to the piece.
