This project centered on creating a digital nature morte (still life) using Rhino 3D and V-Ray. Over the course of the semester, I modeled a series of objects, which were later composed into a carefully designed scene intended to tell a visual story through arrangement, context, and lighting.

I chose the theme of a cabinet of curiosities, assembling a collection of eclectic objects within a richly detailed environment featuring natural lighting from a window and framed artwork to anchor the composition. Through this exercise, I refined my skills in 3D modeling, scene composition, and visual storytelling, exploring how objects, space, and light interact to create narrative and atmosphere.

The composition of the cabinet of curiosities is deliberately organized to emphasize the verticality and height of space. The towering bookshelf reaching almost to the ceiling, the elongated floor lamp, and even the tall plant on the side all contribute to this vertical organization, enhancing the perceived height of the room.

The color palette of the images is muted and natural, with soft lighting filtering through sheer window curtains, creating a sense of tranquility, serenity, and warmth, evoking a peaceful and calming atmosphere.
