Clanimo is a community mobile application designed for dog owners, developed collaboratively as a capstone project.
The app allows users to create personal profiles as well as profiles for their dogs, explore an interactive map of dog parks, send friend requests, and plan meetups with other dog owners. It also includes a private messaging system and real-time notifications for new messages and invitations.
The project was built using the Ionic Framework (Vue.js) for the front-end and Node.js / Express for the back-end, with an architecture connected to MongoDB, Firebase and Supabase. The development focused on creating a smooth, mobile-first experience while managing all social interactions within the dog-owner community.
This project allowed me to strengthen my skills in cross-platform mobile development, back-end integration, and team collaboration in an agile environment.
